Graduate Trainee Recruitment Consultant

We have a turnover of over £4 million and specialise in placing graduates into roles across a range of industries. Founded in 1996, we employ over 40 people in our Brighton office. 

The Role: Trainee Recruitment Consultant – ASAP start

You’ll make a real impact from day one, assisting your managing consultant find the best graduate talent on our database by screening applications, conducting telephone interviews and sending marketing emails. 

Within a year or so you’ll progress right through to full 360 recruitment activity, conducting business development via outbound phone calls, email marketing and networking events. Once you have successfully grown your client base, longer term you’ll have the opportunity to build your own team, progressing to senior then managing consultant level and beyond.

About You

Recruitment is rewarding but challenging – you need to be self-motivated, positive, and keen to work in a target-based, sales driven environment. 

• 2:1 equivalent or above in any degree subject
• Bs at A-level (or equivalent)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• A strong work ethic and genuine ambition to progress quickly
• Happy to make cold outreach approaches to win new business

We are looking for someone who thrives under pressure, can manage competing priorities, and has the confidence to work directly with large employers in a client-facing capacity.
