Warehouse Manager

Connect Appointments is recruiting a Warehouse Manager to join an established IT asset management business based in Redditch.

Our client operates a busy warehouse and operations facility, managing the receipt, storage, processing and despatch of IT products. Offering a competitive salary, strong holiday entitlement and a genuine opportunity to shape warehouse operations.

What’s on offer?

• Full-time permanent position
• Monday to Friday, 42 hours per week
• £35,000 to £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
• 32 days holiday per year

As a Warehouse Manager, your duties will include:

• Strategically managing warehouse operations, staff and distribution in line with company policies and compliance requirements
• Overseeing stock flow, space utilisation, order priorities and transport operations
• Planning rotas, assigning tasks and conducting staff appraisals
• Managing recruitment, inductions, training and disciplinary and grievance procedures
• Producing regular KPI reports and driving continuous process improvement across the facility
• Liaising with internal and external clients, suppliers and transport companies

To be considered as a Warehouse Manager, you will need:

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a warehouse management role
• Proven leadership ability with experience managing warehouse and logistics teams
• HR investigation and disciplinary experience
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems, 5S practices and KPI management
• An IOSH qualification or equivalent health and safety background
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office – ERP system experience is advantageous
