DEBURRER / FINISHING OPERATIVE – Openshaw

Our well-established Engineering client based in Openshaw; Manchester is looking to recruit for a Deburrer / Finishing Operative to start ASAP on an ongoing temporary basis.

Duties include:

• Use hand tools to deburr, grind and finish metal parts to meet quality standards.
• Working with sheet metal components, removing imperfections and sharp edges.
• Hand finishing and operation of finishing machine.
• Operation of belt sanders, bench grinders, vibrating polishers and deburring machines
• completion of any relevant paperwork will be required.
• Pack and palletise of completed products.
• Some heavy lifting required.
• Having a Counterbalance FLT would be advantageous.

Working Hours:

• 2-week rotating shift basis.
• 6.00am to 2.00pm – Monday to Friday
• 2.00pm to 10.00pm – Monday to Friday
• Other time available.
• 37.5hrs per week.

Pay Rate:

£13.13 per hour
