Overview:

We are looking for a motivated and reliable Class 2 driver with a minimum of 3 months experience to join our well established and respected client in Kidderminster with this temp to perm, highly sort after position. This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified driver

Applicants should live within a relatively short commuting distance

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out multi-drop or single-drop deliveries
• Load and unload goods safely and efficiently
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects
• Ensure timely and accurate deliveries while maintaining high levels of customer service
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections
• Adhere to all road traffic laws, drivers’ hours regulations and company procedures
• Gradually take on Class 2 vehicle responsibilities as experience and performance develops

Requirements:

• Category C license (Class 2)
• Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Good knowledge of driving laws, health & safety, and vehicle checks
• A responsible, professional attitude and good communication skills
• Physically fit and able to load/unload goods when required
• Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn

• Must live locally to the Kidderminster area as per employers request.
