Job Purpose

To carry out a wide range of plumbing repairs and installations within residential properties, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. The role includes everything from minor plumbing repairs to complete bathroom suite replacements while delivering excellent customer service to tenants and residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out plumbing repairs in occupied residential properties.
• Replace complete bathroom suites, including baths, toilets, wash basins, showers, taps, and associated pipework.
• Diagnose plumbing faults and complete effective repairs.
• Repair leaking taps, toilets, pipework, waste systems, and other plumbing fixtures.
• Respond to day-to-day maintenance and repair requests.
• Ensure all work complies with current health and safety regulations and company standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment within customers’ homes.
• Complete job records accurately using company systems or handheld devices.
• Communicate professionally with tenants, residents, and colleagues.
• Identify any additional repair requirements and report them where necessary.
• Ensure company vehicles, tools, and equipment are maintained in good working order.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a repairs or maintenance plumber.
• Experience replacing complete bathroom suites.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of current plumbing regulations and health and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Plumbing (or equivalent qualification).
• Full UK Driving Licence.
