Assistant Accountant:

Cherry Professional are working with an established, privately owned organisation in Skegness  to recruit an Assistant Accountant within a busy finance function where you’ll be covering more than one site. (Occasional, but only very occasional, travel will be required)
The role
This is a hands-on, varied position supporting the production of management information and maintaining accurate balance sheet control.
Key duties will include:

• Assisting with management accounts
• Posting and reviewing accruals and prepayments
• Balance sheet reconciliations and control accounts
• Supporting trial balance integrity and month-end processes
• General finance support to the wider team as required

What we’re looking for

• Part-qualified (ceased or actively studying) finance professional
• Experience across month-end / management accounts support
• Strong reconciliation skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable working on-site and collaborating with stakeholders

Package & benefits

• Salary: up to £35,000
• Benefits: Study support, 25 days holiday, pension scheme, on-site parking
• Working pattern: On-site / 40 hours per week. A hybrid option is to be discussed at time of interview
