Warehouse Order Picker (Day Shift)

Our client is a large logistics and distribution company based in Sittingbourne. They are offering an exciting opportunity for someone looking for a career in warehouse and logistics.

The client is looking for an experienced order picking operatives to start work asap working on a temporary to permanent basis.

Ideally applicants will have counterbalance forklift experience (counterbalance or reach) with a current licence, however this is not essential.

The client is recruiting for the following shifts:

Day shift Monday to Friday, 07.30am to 17.00pm and every other Saturday 06.00am to 15.30pm.

The hourly rate of £13.26 while temping (equivalent permanent salary £34,131).

The work will involve:

· Order Picking

· Load and unload trucks ensuring proper stacking and securing of products.

· Checking goods are secure and performing equipment checks, including basic maintenance.

· Following written instructions and keeping records.

· Completing physical tasks quickly and accurately.

Applicant Requirements:

· Warehouse and logistics experience.

· Strong order picking experience.

· Ideally experience of operating forklifts in a warehouse or similar environment.

· Ability to work well with others

· Ability to operate and control equipment.

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing duties.
