Family Law Paralegal

Location: South London (Croydon & Wimbledon area)
Contract: Full-Time, Initial 12-Month Fixed Term Contract
Working Arrangement: Office Based (Hybrid working may be considered)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Family Law Paralegal to join a well-established specialist law firm in South London.

This firm focuses exclusively on private family law matters and offers exposure to a broad range of high-quality work, including divorce and finance, child arrangements disputes, domestic abuse matters, and property-related family disputes.

The Role

Working closely alongside a team of solicitors, you will provide key paralegal and administrative support across a busy caseload. The role is designed to support fee earners with the smooth running of matters and day-to-day case management.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing court bundles and hearing documentation
• Attending client meetings alongside solicitors and recording instructions/advice
• Booking Counsel and assisting with hearing arrangements
• Drafting client care letters and routine correspondence
• Handling telephone enquiries and scheduling appointments
• Assisting with case management and file administration
• Supporting solicitors with administrative and procedural tasks

About You

• Previous experience within a family law environment
• Strong organisational and administrative skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication and client care abilities
• Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced legal environment
• Experience preparing court bundles and liaising with Counsel would be advantageous
