Location: Retford (Own transport essential – site not accessible via public transport)

Pay Rate: £13.40 (depending on experience) + holiday pay
Pay Frequency: Weekly

Role Overview

An opportunity has arisen for a skilled Precast Concrete Operative to join a fast-paced production yard specialising in hollowcore. This position is ideal for someone with prior experience in a similar role who is confident working in a hands-on, industrial setting. Enhanced pay rates are available for candidates with strong experience and advanced skill levels.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
• 6:00am – 4:00pm

Key Responsibilities

• Manufacturing hollowcore products
• Assembling, preparing, and cleaning moulds
• Pouring and shaping concrete in line with specifications
• Carrying out finishing work and quality inspections
• Supporting general production and concrete-related tasks
• Keeping work areas tidy and adhering to health & safety standards
• Interpreting and working from technical drawings
• Assisting colleagues and contributing to overall production efficiency

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience within precast concrete (essential)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (essential)
• Reliable, hardworking, and punctual
• Physically capable of manual work in a production setting
• Must have own transport due to location

Start Date & Duration

• Immediate start available
• Ongoing work with the opportunity to become permanent
