Nursery Manager – salary negotiable

We are recruiting for a hands on and visible Nursery Manager to lead a large Nursery close to Stapleford Nottingham. The role is working full time Monday to Friday, 51 weeks a year. There is onsite parking, the nursery is purpose built, close to the tram line and you will be supported well by a friendly and passionate senior leadership team. You will be someone who is able to nurture teams to feel valued and be able to build parent partnerships with a diverse group of families.

The role of Nursery Manager will include:

• Managing the day to day operations of a 100+ place Nursery
• Leading on quality and compliance across the Nursery setting
• Responsible for parent show rounds and registrations
• Managing a large team, leading, mentoring and inspiring them along the way
• Building excellent parent partnerships
• Delivering excellent Early Years practice
• Marketing and growing the nursery FTE’s and then staff recruitment, respectively.

As the Nursery Manager you will have:

• Full and relevant childcare qualification, level 3 or above
• Previous experience managing a Nursery to a high standard, 2 years minimum
• Enjoy leading and motivating the team, role modelling best practice and mentoring
• Excellent parent partnerships
• Strong organisation skills and able to keep calm during time of pressure
