Nursery Manager – up to £40,000 does

We are recruiting for an experienced Nursery Manager to lead a 95 place Nursery on the outskirts of Middlesbrough (South). The role is working full time Monday to Friday, and there is onsite parking. There is an experienced and passionate senior leadership team available for support and the nursery itself is gorgeous, with tons of outdoor learning and a forest school. You will be someone who is able to nurture the team, build upon the quality and continue to build parent partnerships.

The role of Nursery Manager will include:

• Managing the day to day operations of a 95+ place Nursery
• Leading on quality and compliance across the Nursery setting
• Responsible for parent show rounds and registrations
• Managing a large team, leading, mentoring and inspiring them along the way
• Building excellent parent partnerships with affluent families
• Delivering excellent Early Years practice
• Marketing and growing the nursery FTE’s and then staff recruitment, respectively.

As the Nursery Manager you will have:

• Full and relevant childcare qualification, level 3 or above
• Previous experience managing a Nursery to a high standard, 12 months minimum
• Enjoy leading and motivating the team, role modelling best practice and mentoring
• Excellent parent partnerships
• Forest school knowledge / experience, ideal but not essential
• Strong organisation skills and able to keep calm during time of pressure
