Job Title: Fire and Security Commissioning Engineer
Location: Birmingham
Salary: From £36000 to £44000 per annum
Are you looking for a Fire and Security Commissioning Engineer position working in Birmingham? As a Fire and Security Commissioning Engineer, you will be expected to commission fire alarm and electronic security systems across commercial sites, ensuring systems are fully configured, tested, and handed over to the required standard. You will be working for an established fire and security company delivering projects across the region.
Responsibilities:
● Commission fire alarm, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems
● Carry out system testing, configuration, and final verification before handover
● Identify and rectify faults during commissioning stages
● Complete commissioning records and technical paperwork accurately
Experience and Certifications required:
● A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
● Experience commissioning fire alarm and electronic security systems
● Strong understanding of testing and final setup across both disciplines
● ECS / CSCS Card preferred
● FIA qualifications beneficial
