About the role
Job Title: Fire Alarm Service Engineer (Service Technician)
Location: Birmingham
Salary: From £32000 to £40000 per annum
Are you looking for a Fire Alarm Service Engineer position working in Birmingham? As a Fire Alarm Service Engineer, you will be expected to service, maintain, and fault-find on fire alarm systems across commercial sites, ensuring systems remain fully operational and compliant. You will be working for an established fire and security company delivering maintenance services across the region.
Responsibilities:
● Service and maintain fire alarm systems across commercial properties
● Carry out fault finding and minor repairs on fire alarm systems
● Complete planned preventative maintenance visits
● Ensure service reports and paperwork are completed accurately
Experience and Certifications required:
● A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
● Experience servicing fire alarm systems
● Strong fault-finding ability on fire alarm equipment
● ECS / CSCS Card preferred
● FIA qualifications beneficial
