Job Title: Fire Alarm Service Engineer
Location: South West (Devon/Exeter)
Rate: £240 per day

Are you a Fire Alarm Service Engineer based in the South West looking for your next contract opportunity? As a Fire Alarm Service Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding works on fire alarm and emergency lighting systems across a range of commercial, industrial, and residential sites throughout the Devon and Exeter area. You will be joining an established company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality fire and security solutions to its customers.

Responsibilities:

* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on fire alarm systems in line with BS 5839 standards.
* Diagnose and resolve faults on fire alarm and emergency lighting systems efficiently and to a high standard.
* Carry out servicing and testing of emergency lighting systems in accordance with BS 5266.
* Complete accurate service records, inspection reports, and any required remedial quotations following site visits.
* Liaise professionally with site contacts and clients, maintaining a high standard of customer service throughout.

Experience and Certifications required:

* Minimum 3 years' experience servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems in a field-based role.
* Proven experience working with a range of fire alarm panels from manufacturers such as Advanced, Gent, Hochiki, or Kentec.
* Experience fault-finding and servicing emergency lighting systems.
* Full UK driving licence.
* FIA Level 3 or equivalent fire alarm qualification (desirable).
* ECS/CSCS card (desirable).
