Data Processor

An exceptional opportunity based in Manchester City Centre has become available for a Data Processor looking to develop their career and specialise within Commercial Property.   Working for a highly reputable and successful organisation that covers Commercial Surveying such as Valuation, Property Management, and Lease Advisory, you will be part of the North West surveying team, focusing on Business Rates. This role will suit somebody who is analytical and has experience in a high volume fast paced data driven position, ideally utilising Excel at a high level. A background within Mathematics/Statistics could also be beneficial. Property experience is not essential. As a data processor, your role will involve supporting the Surveyors with tasks and responsibilities including,

• Identifying, gathering, processing, and analysing various data relating to Business Rates.
• Making insights accessible through easy-to-understand graphs, charts, tables, and reports.
• Updating internal property databases and spreadsheets regularly to ensure the most relevant information is stored correctly.
• Liaising with the Valuation Office on supplying information.
• Liaising with the surveying team on vacant properties liable for Business Rates in terms of data collection.
• Document and data management on all rating matters including occupier leases and occupancy details.

  The successful Business Rates Data Analyst/Processor will have,

• Strong analytical skills.
• Previous experience in a fast paced data driven role.
• The ability to pay attention to detail when working with high volumes of data.
• Strong IT and mathematical skills.
• Advanced Excel.
• Generally “Tech Savy” to be able to support the team.
