Description: Established in 2008, this highly successful and well-regarded rating consultancy has enjoyed substantial profitable growth, having recently celebrated consecutive record years for the business. The business is now looking to accelerate this growth with the key hire of a Rating Director. Working for a national property consultancy, this role is an ideal opportunity for an individual looking for the next step in their career. As part of the team leading the business you will be an integral part of this successful consultancy. This is a rare opportunity join a specialist team responsible for some of the largest assessments across the UK and Ireland. You will take responsibility for your own caseload and contribute to fee billing and profit targets. You will have direct client liaison and will have a strong track record as a rating practitioner. Of particular interest will be individuals with good experience of the Receipts & Expenditure and the Contractor’s Basis methods of rating valuation. Being a confident communicator, you will enjoy being part of a strong team, liaising with existing clients as well as developing new business opportunities. As a successful rating practitioner you will be able to demonstrate:

• A detailed knowledge of rating and associated case law
• A strong ability to handle rating valuation appeals and complex cases across a diverse range of property types
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Ambition to push your career forward and take responsibility for specialist property portfolios

In return my client can offer a negotiable salary DOE (c£90,000+) plus an exceptional uncapped performance related bonus.
