Residential Lettings and Property Manager, 25 hours

Our client is a highly successful property company based in central Manchester. They have an opportunity for an experienced Lettings and Property Manager to manage their residential portfolio, working on a part time basis of 25 hours per week. Our client requires a high calibre residential property manager, who has thorough knowledge of all up to date lettings compliance and legislation. You should also be passionate about property and providing excellent customer service. Duties and responsibilities include:

• Being the first point of contact for all landlord and tenant queries
• Preparing tenancy paperwork and keeping offer accepted to move in timings to a minimum.
• Secure the necessary ID and ownership checks for landlords and tenants.
• Successfully put prospective tenants through Right to Rent
• Arranging maintenance with contractors
• Preparing tenancy paperwork
• Organising and obtaining relevant safety certification
• Meeting with contractors on site
• Carrying out property move ins and inspections.
• Issuing section notices
• Managing rental arrears
• Negotiating and revising costs
• Rent renewals.
• Ensuring full legislative compliance
• Providing an exceptional level of customer service
• Ideally a knowledge of fix flow and inventory hive

  Our client is offering a basic salary of £25,0000 - £30,000 on a pro rata basis (for 25 hours). Working hours 25 per week, potentially over 4 or 5 days. One day may be home based.
