Graduate Building Surveyor (experienced)

Clifton Gray is working with a leading property firm who have an exceptional reputation due to their successful track record and accomplished team. Due to a sustained period of growth, the firm is looking to strengthen the North West team with the addition of a Building Surveyor. Taking a position in the North West BS function this role will suit a recently Chartered Building Surveyor or a Building Surveyor who has begun their pathway, either with Consultancy or Local Authority experience, somebody wanting to be part of a highly acclaimed business. Working predominately across the North West, you will be given the opportunity to grow and expand on your existing experience, managing a mix of private and public sector building surveying commissions, dilapidation advice, pre lease assessments, project management, acquisition surveys and more. As part of the BS team, you will assist senior colleagues with the following duties, with personal responsibility increasing with experience.

• Positively engaging with clients and developing, growing and maintaining client relationships.
• Managing building surveying commissions, including dilapidation advice, pre lease assessments, project management, acquisition surveys - from contract administration to handover and much more.
• Identifying new business development opportunities and driving growth across the Business Unit.
• Communicating with and providing good sound professional advice to both clients and other project team members.
• Quality monitoring of all projects.
• Planning service delivery.
• Agreeing with the director and client the right sub consultants to assist with the delivery of a commission where applicable.
• Producing and presenting to clients.
• Preparing bids for services.
