The Role

We’re working with a leading education provider to appoint a Carpentry Lecturer to join their growing Construction team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Carpentry professional to step into a teaching role (or continue their education career) and play a key part in developing the next generation of tradespeople.

You’ll deliver high-quality teaching across Levels 1–3, combining your industry experience with engaging delivery to drive student success.

What You’ll Be Doing

Deliver Carpentry teaching across Levels 1–3
Support and motivate learners to achieve strong outcomes
Act as Course Leader & Personal Tutor for Level 2 students
Assess student work and provide clear, constructive feedback
Deliver training to apprentices within the college setting
Work closely with leadership and the wider Construction team
Contribute to course development and continuous improvement
Monitor attendance, engagement, and progression

What We’re Looking For

Solid background in Carpentry (industry experience essential)
Passion for developing others and sharing knowledge
Strong communication and organisational skills
Teaching qualification (or willingness to obtain)
Previous FE/teaching experience beneficial but not essential
