What You’ll Do:
As an Early Years Practitioner Level 3, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and educational activities tailored to the needs of young children. You’ll work closely with colleagues and parents to support children’s development, ensuring a safe, engaging, and inclusive setting where every child can thrive. Your role will be pivotal in fostering a love of learning and supporting the early foundation for future success.
Required Skills:
Level 3 Qualification in Early Years or Childcare
Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to plan and deliver engaging activities suitable for young children
Patience, creativity, and a nurturing approach
Knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience working in a similar early years setting
Additional languages or cultural awareness
First aid certification
Ability to work collaboratively within a team
Preferred Education and Experience:
Minimum of Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education
Previous experience in a nursery, preschool, or reception class setting
Demonstrated commitment to safeguarding and promoting children’s development
Other Requirements:
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)
Flexibility in working hours to accommodate the needs of the setting
Commitment to ongoing professional development
