TR2 Recruitment are working with a leading Further Education provider in North Yorkshire to recruit a Tutor of Carpentry & Joinery on a part-time permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Carpentry & Joinery professional or FE Lecturer looking to join a well-established construction department delivering high-quality training to learners across a range of levels.

The Role:

Deliver engaging Carpentry & Joinery lessons to FE learners
Support and motivate students to achieve their qualifications
Prepare lesson plans, assessments and learner tracking
Maintain high standards of teaching, learning and workshop safety
Contribute to curriculum development and learner progression

The Ideal Candidate:

Industry experience within Carpentry & Joinery
Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one
Experience delivering within Further Education or apprenticeships desirable
Passion for supporting and developing learners
Strong communication and organisational skills
