Zest4Talent is working in partnership with a highly respected multidisciplinary consultancy that is looking to appoint a Sustainability Associate / Associate Director to join its expanding Sustainability and Building Performance team.

This is a senior opportunity for someone who enjoys combining technical delivery, client leadership, team development and commercial input.

The Opportunity

You will play a key role in delivering innovative sustainability, net zero and building performance solutions across a diverse portfolio of projects, including commercial, residential, healthcare, education, infrastructure and public sector developments.

This is not just a delivery role. You will be trusted to lead projects, shape client relationships, mentor junior team members and support the continued growth of an established sustainability offering.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading sustainability and building performance projects from inception through to completion.
• Acting as a trusted advisor to clients and design teams.
• Providing technical leadership across sustainability, net zero and environmental design.
• Managing and developing key client relationships.
• Supporting business development and growth initiatives.
• Mentoring and supporting junior consultants.
• Working closely with multidisciplinary teams across a wide range of sectors.
• What We’re Looking For
• Extensive experience within sustainability consultancy.
• Strong knowledge of building performance modelling and environmental design.
• Significant experience using IES VE.
• Experience delivering energy and sustainability strategies.
• Proven project leadership and client management experience.
• Team leadership, mentoring and people development skills.
• Commercial awareness and experience supporting business growth.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
