Zest4Talent is partnering with a well-established independent acoustic consultancy with an outstanding reputation for delivering high-quality work across planning, environmental and building acoustics. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Acoustic Consultant to join their expanding team.

The Role

As a Senior Acoustic Consultant, you will lead and deliver a varied portfolio of acoustic projects, working closely with clients and multidisciplinary design teams. You’ll be responsible for managing your own workload while also supporting and mentoring junior consultants as they develop their careers.

The successful candidate will be confident running projects independently, taking ownership from inception through to completion with minimal supervision.

What We’re Looking For

• Ideally 4–8 years’ consultancy experience within acoustics.
• Experience across planning acoustics, building acoustics and mechanical services noise.
• Degree in Acoustics, Physics, Audio Technology or a related discipline preferred.
• Membership of the Institute of Acoustics (IOA) desirable.
• Ability to manage projects with minimal day-to-day support.
• Strong commercial awareness and excellent client-facing skills.
• Existing client relationships would be advantageous.

Working Arrangements

The head office is based in Bedfordshire, with excellent transport links.

The standard hybrid pattern is 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home. For the right individual, fully remote working will also be considered. During your onboarding, you’ll be expected to spend more time in the office to integrate with the team, after which occasional office visits (typically once or twice per month) will help maintain collaboration and strong working relationships.
