A growing regional contractor is looking to appoint a Site Manager to take day‑to‑day control of commercial projects across the South West. The business delivers schemes in the £1m–£5m range and is expanding its operational team due to a strong secured pipeline.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys full ownership of their projects and wants to work in a business where decisions are made quickly. It would suit either a proven Site Manager confident running £1m–£5m schemes, or a Senior Site Manager seeking more autonomy and direct influence on delivery.

YOUR NEW ROLE
You’ll be the lead presence on site, responsible for driving the programme, coordinating trades, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring the project is delivered to specification. Typical schemes include commercial refurbishments, small new-build units, industrial upgrades, and mixed-use spaces.
Core responsibilities:
Running the site from set-up to handover
Managing the programme and reporting progress
Overseeing subcontractors and site labour
Ensuring compliance with H&S and company procedures
Maintaining quality standards and resolving issues proactively
Acting as the main point of contact for clients and consultants
Creating a positive, productive site environment

ABOUT YOU
Experience leading commercial projects as No.1 on-site
Strong organisational and programme management skills
Confident communication and leadership ability
SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold), First Aid
A practical, solutions-led approach

SALARY AND BENEFITS
£55,000 – £60,000 + package
Vehicle allowance or company vehicle
