Location: Oldbury-on-Severn

Contract: Permanent | Full Time

Hours: 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Thursday 7.15am – 5pm (NO FRIDAYS)

Amey is recruiting a qualified Electrician to join a small, friendly team in Oldbury-on-Severn carrying out EICRs (Electrical Installation Condition Reports). This is a secure, site-based role offering a 4-day working week and a strong focus on quality over speed.

Working on-site, you will be responsible for inspection, testing and reporting on electrical installations. The environment is safety-led with no pressure to rush jobs, ensuring high standards are maintained at all times.

Key responsibilities

·       Carry out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs)

·       Inspect and test electrical installations

·       Complete accurate reporting and documentation

·       Work safely in line with regulations and company procedures

·       Maintain high standards of quality and compliance

What you’ll bring

Required

·       NVQ Level 3 Qualified Electrician

·       2391 Testing & Inspection (or equivalent)

·       18th Edition Wiring Regulations

·       Experience carrying out EICRs

·       Strong understanding of electrical safety standards

·       Good communication skills

·       Basic IT skills

Desirable

·       Time-served apprentice

·       Experience using Napit FastTest software (training can be provided)

·       Ability to work well within a small team

·       Professional and reliable attitude
