Road Marking Foreman/ Experienced Operative

KL Talent are looking for a Line Marking Foreman/Experienced Operative. Our client is a family ran business in Darlington with almost 30 years in the trade. Due to expansion of workload they are now looking to add an additional foreman.
The job will require a hands on Foreman with a can do attitude who is willing and able to carry out the following duties:
• Line marking & removal
• Anti-skid surfacing and playground marking
• Provide training for new staff members
Due to the requirements of the role prior experience within this field is a necessity.
Candidates should hold a valid CSCS card and NVQ level 2 in road marking (training can be provided if required)
Flexibility is required for overtime and weekends as and when needed but this is paid at a higher premium rate.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage daily work onsite, instructing team members as required
- Read and interpret road marking plans / drawings and communicate this to the team
- Ensure that work is completed to a high standard
- Ensure adherence to health and safety working practices, inline with company risk assessments and method statements, including the correct use of PPE and equipment
- Collaborate with management and on site contacts to resolve any issues that may arise
- Provide guidance and mentorship to new employees whilst training
