MRICS Asset Manager (In-House)

A national property company is looking to recruit an MRICS Asset Manager, who will have direct responsibility and ownership for a portfolio of multi-let Industrial units across the North West region.

Forming part of the In-House Asset Management team, you will be responsible for helping to deliver asset management initiatives to maximise the income and value of the assets within your portfolio.

You will be responsible for delivering the asset strategy to ensure all new letting opportunities or existing lease events are recognised and actioned, including lease renewals, rent reviews, re-gears, surrenders, and end of lease dilapidations.

With a concentration on maxmising the efficient use of space and minimizing void risk, you will build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing tenants to ensure their ever-changing requirements for space and services are dealt with quickly and effectively.

You will be responsible for aiding in the preparation of annual budgets and monitoring performance to ensure the assets operate efficiently and deliver in line with company’s plan, and working closely with internal and external partners such as property managers, letting agents, sales, marketing, solicitors and surveyors, you will ensure the day to day effective management of your portfolio of assets.

As the successful Asset Manager you will be MRICS Qualified with previous experience in an Asset Management position, ideally with Industrial units being part of your portfolio. You will be a strong communicator, someone who finds it easy to build rapport, and it goes without saying that you will have a real passion for asset management and commercial property in general.

Salary is c40k plus car, bonus, and benefits.
