MRICS Asset Manager (Client-Side) - recently qualified

An exceptionally rare client-side opportunity has become available for an MRICS Property Management or Asset Management Surveyor to join a national property company, forming part of the In-House Asset Management team.   This role is available within the organisation due to their continued success, and you will be joining the company at an exciting time of business growth. This role is an ideal opportunity for a recently qualified Property Management Surveyor with either public sector or Consultancy experience looking to move Client-Side and wishing to broaden their experience and focus their career within Asset Management. Working with this firm you can expect plenty of opportunity for progression and a team environment, whilst you are surrounded by some of the most skilled and experienced people in the industry. Forming part of the In-House Asset Management team, you will have direct responsibility for a portfolio across the North West. The role will involve you working closely with the rest of the Asset Management team, where you will be responsible for delivering a seamless experience for tenants, providing a crucial role between them, facilities management, finance, and asset management teams. Your previous experience and knowledge will be valued and your growth within Asset Management will be supported. Responsibilities within the role will include,

• Contract administration, reading and interpretation of lease documentation
• Reviewing tenancy data, planning for key lease events, service charges etc
• Working with the Asset Management and Financial team to prepare service charge budgets
• Tenant liaison, building positive relationships through regular meetings
• Undertaking property inspections
• Supporting the team in acquiring or disposing of assets, and ensuring vacant properties are let
• Working with the Asset Management team with value add or capital expenditure schemes
• Building a robust demand pipeline
• Keeping a strong continued focus on improving the portfolio and developing a clear commercial strategy

  As the successful MRICS Asset Management Surveyor you will

• Be recently MRICS qualified
• Have recent experience in Commercial Property Management or Asset Management
• Hold a passion for Commercial Property, and in particular Asset Management, that is evident in how you approach your career and role
• Be hungry for career progression and relish the opportunity to move client-side
• Be able to “think out of the box” to deliver for tenants
• Have high attention to detail and good report writing skills, coupled with strong negotiation skills
