Credit Control Team Leader

An fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Credit Control Team Leader, to oversee busy team of credit controllers, working with an award winning property company at their office in Sale. The nature of the department mean that you must have excellent conflict management skills and the ability to maintain calm in stressful situations. This is a fast-paced role where you will be expected to manage your time effectively to meet the needs of the business. You will have strong IT skills, with particular emphasis on Excel, with excellent accuracy and attention to detail. Experience in a similar role is beneficial, preferably within the property industry. Duties:

• Responsible for monitoring and driving internal KPI’s
• Producing weekly arrears reports across multiple brands
• Responsible for Training, Developing and Coaching the Credit Control Team
• Perform regular 1-2-1s and Appraisals
• Managing and litigating bad debt
• Production of weekly and monthly reports
• Ability to step up and support your team when facing difficult situations with tenants
• Managing debt cases and liaising with solicitors
• Occasionally attending court hearings
• Supporting the team with Debt chasing during busy periods
• Management and maintenance of payment plans
• Handling rent insurance claims
• We are looking for an experienced credit controller, with a background in managing people.
