Facilities Manager

With an enviable reputation in the commercial property market, our client is a dynamic and professional firm who employ some of the most reputable and experienced property professionals in the sector. Due to the continued success of the property facilities team a rare opportunity has become available for an experienced Facilities Manager to join the team in Liverpool City Centre.   Reporting into the Head of Facilities Management this role is key to supporting the strategic management plan of the company and will focus on commercial multi let sites. These sites will be predominately based in the North West, however there will be times when you will travel further afield. The primary focus will be to focus on service delivery to each of the properties, engaging with suppliers, occupiers, and Asset Management to provide service excellence. Key responsibilities will include,

• Working closely with the asset management surveyors regarding service charge accounts
• Contractor management– meeting with key contract managers to drive performance across hard and soft service lines, compliance, reports, and performance management
• Property Maintenance– identify key areas where maintenance is required, maintain all drawings for property portfolio, plant and equipment testing, regular inspections, utilities management
• Tenant Liaison– maintain good relationships with tenants
• Health & Safety– organise site work, manage all H&S matters in buildings, checking permissions, insurances, risk assessments, compliance

  As the successful Facilities Manager you will have

• Experience working in a fast paced managing agent
• Ideally experience in a multi site role, however single-site will be considered
• Budget management experience/knowledge
• Able to manage a workload, balancing various sites and tasks
• Practically minded
