Location: Leicester, LE3

Salary: Up to £38,000 per annum (depending on experience and qualifications)

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week

About the Role

Joneshouse Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a specialist adult social care provider for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a 6-bed residential home in Leicester.

This is an excellent opportunity to manage a well-established service supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, cerebral palsy, and epilepsy. You will lead a dedicated team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care while maintaining strong operational performance and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day management of the residential service.
• Ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred care.
• Maintain compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and quality standards.
• Lead, coach, supervise, and develop a high-performing staff team.
• Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive culture.
• Manage budgets, staffing, rotas, and operational performance.
• Carry out audits, implement improvement plans, and drive continuous service development.
• Build positive relationships with families, commissioners, healthcare professionals, and external agencies.
• Support individuals to maximise independence, wellbeing, and achieve positive outcomes.

Essential

• Management experience within adult social care.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Adult Care (or willingness to work towards it).
• Good knowledge of adult social care legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs, acquired brain injuries, or other complex needs.
• Experience managing budgets, rotas, and service performance.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience driving quality through audits and continuous improvement.

Desirable

• Knowledge of therapeutic and non-aversive support approaches.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
