  • Provide immediate safety planning, emotional support and practical advice.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records using a secure case management system.
  • Allocate referrals to the most appropriate community and outreach services.
  • Encourage engagement with support services through effective communication.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of available services, referral pathways and refuge vacancies.
  • Keep accurate records and reports in line with organisational and funding requirements.
  • Work in partnership with professionals and external agencies to support positive outcomes.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with safeguarding, confidentiality and data protection requirements.
  • Promote equality, diversity and inclusion, ensuring services remain accessible to everyone.

What We’re Looking For

Essential

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
  • Experience working or volunteering in a support-focused environment.
  • Experience supporting vulnerable individuals both face-to-face and over the telephone.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to assess information quickly and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality principles.
  • Flexible approach to working hours when required.
  • Commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.
