Permanent Nanny required in Hartfield, East Sussex R1289

A lovely family known to MTW are looking for a Part Time Nanny for either 3 or 4 full days per week to care for their 3 children aged Girl 8 years, Boy 6 years and Girl 4 years old. This is a sole charge and daily position. The family would like a nanny with a gentle holistic approach or a candidate that would be happy to work within this environment.

Duties

Full Nursery Duties

School/nursery drop off and pick ups.

Family food prep and feeding the children when required.

Some light housekeeping duties (cleaner employed)

Running errands and light food shopping.

Children’s laundry

Hours and Days

3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday).

4 days per week (Tuesday to Friday).

8am to 5pm

Start Date

May 2026 – happy to wait for the right candidate.

Salary

£15 – £21 per hour gross – depending on experience

Additional Information

Driver required – car can be provided for some of the time (school runs) so own car would be ideal – mileage paid at 0.45p per mile if using own car and with the children.

Pet friendly as there is a dog in the family home

Occasional babysitting and proxy parenting required.

As with all Mums the Word placements our candidates should have a minimum of 2 years experience working with children, an Enhanced DBS, paediatric first aid certificates and at least 2 contactable references.
