Team Leader – Children’s Care Home

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Leader to join our Children’s Care Home team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting young people, leading care staff, and ensuring a safe, nurturing, and positive environment for children and young people.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support a team of Residential Support Workers/Care Staff
Ensure high-quality care and safeguarding of children and young people
Assist in the day-to-day running of the care home
Support children with emotional, behavioural, and social needs
Ensure care plans are followed and updated where required
Maintain compliance with Ofsted standards and safeguarding policies
Promote a safe, structured, and supportive environment
Work closely with senior management and external professionals
Requirements:
Previous experience in a children’s residential care setting
Strong leadership and team management skills
Good understanding of safeguarding and child protection
NVQ Level 3/4 in Residential Childcare (preferred)
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work shifts, including weekends and sleep-ins if required
