About the role
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the bookkeeping needs of multiple clients, working across a range of software including QuickBooks, Xero & Sage. Your expertise will be essential in providing accurate and timely financial information to our clients, ensuring their accounts are up to date and compliant with current regulations.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Bank reconciliations, sales, purchase, VAT, PAYE controls, etc.
- Completion and filing of VAT returns, knowledge of MTD, partial exemption and Domestic Reverse charge required
- Completion and filing of CIS returns
- Completion and posting of wages journals
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, preferably in an accountancy practice setting
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping practices and procedures
- Ability to manage multiple clients and prioritise tasks effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with VAT returns and payroll processes is advantageous
- A proactive, flexible attitude with a willingness to help with both bookkeeping and administrative tasks
