We are seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead a children’s home in Bognor Regis.

This is a great opportunity to step into a role where you can genuinely shape the service, with flexibility around the setup (LD preferred, open to EBD depending on experience).

The Role

As Registered Manager, you will:

• Lead the day-to-day running of the children’s home
• Ensure compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards
• Safeguard and promote the welfare of young people
• Develop and support a stable staff team
• Prepare for and manage inspections with Ofsted
• Maintain strong relationships with local authorities and professionals

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Registered Manager within children’s residential care
• Strong working knowledge of Ofsted regulations and inspection frameworks
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)
• Proven ability to lead, develop and manage staff teams effectively
• Experience supporting children with LD and/or EBD needs (LD preferred)
• Confident in safeguarding, risk management and care planning
• Ability to manage budgets, occupancy and overall service performance
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Willingness to take on dual registration and progress to Responsible Individual (RI)
