Assistant Accountant

An opportunity has arisen for a career focused Assistant Accountant to join a medium sized, well established Liverpool based company. Working alongside the Financial Contoller, the role will allow an experienced Assistant Accountant to take their skills to the next level. Duties are varied and will encompass the whole accounts process including: Accounts Receivable:

• Preparation of invoices
• Processing of customer receipts
• Gathering of credit and reference information
• Dealing with customer queries
• Credit Control

Accounts Payable:

• Recording of supplier invoices into Sage Line 50
• Reconciliation of Supplier Statements
• Setting up payments

General administrative duties:

• Answering general queries
• Filing of relevant documents
• Other duties as requested

As an experienced Assistant Accountant, the successful candidate will be AAT qualified with a working knowledge of Sage Line 50.  Educated to GCSE level and proficiency using the Microsoft Office suite is required, with a strong knowledge of Excel. Excellent communication skills will ensure the Assistant Accountant is able to communicate effectively with internal and external contacts.
