Teach In Qualified – Teaching Assistant to Qualified Teacher Status – Salaried Graduate Programme

With the Teach In Qualified (TiQ) Programme, you can start training up from Teaching Assistant to Qualified Teacher as soon as January and receive a salary while you train!

TiQ is for graduates who have previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, Tutor or similar and involves starting at a school as a Teaching Assistant and working your way up to QTS with increasing responsibilities in the school as well as continued training and development from both within the school and an external training provider who specialize in school-centred initial teacher training and have a long, successful history of producing & training high quality teachers.

There are no course fees or student loans, you will join the TiQ January 2017 cohort which involves training days and occasional socials with other graduates on the programme, you earn a salary from day one and you will receive support from both an experienced teacher/mentor AND an expert training provider. Starting as a Teaching Assistant and going through the TiQ course structure will mean your transition from Teaching Assistant to Qualified Teacher is as smooth as possible.

To be eligible, you need:

* A degree (ideally 2:1 or higher, 2:2 will be considered) *

* Experience as either a Teaching Assistant or Tutor *

* A supporting statement explaining your interest in & suitability to the programme *
