Location: Blackburn Area
Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Bonus: Annual bonus of up to £15,000

Our client is seeking a passionate, dedicated, and inspiring Registered Manager to lead a well-established 4-bed Children’s Residential Home supporting children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected and growing organisation with a home that has been successfully operating since 2019.

You’ll receive ongoing support from an experienced Responsible Individual and senior leadership team who are committed to helping you succeed and develop in your role.

The Role

As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the home provides outstanding care, enabling children to achieve positive outcomes in a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment.

You will lead by example, inspire your team, and promote a culture of excellence while maintaining the highest standards of care and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strong, effective leadership to the staff team.
• Ensure the home operates in line with Ofsted regulations and Children’s Homes Regulations.
• Lead the home through Ofsted inspections and maintain compliance with all statutory requirements.
• Create a positive, therapeutic environment where young people can thrive.
• Recruit, develop, supervise, and motivate staff.
• Manage safeguarding, risk assessments, and care planning effectively.
• Monitor quality assurance, audits, and continuous improvement plans.
• Build positive relationships with local authorities, professionals, families, and external agencies.
• Ensure the home achieves the best possible outcomes for every child.

About You

We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a genuine difference in the lives of children and young people.

You will have:

• Previous experience as a Registered Manager, or be an experienced Deputy Manager ready to progress.
• A strong understanding of Ofsted regulations, inspections, compliance, and quality standards.
• NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or be working towards it).
• Excellent leadership and people management skills.
• A positive attitude with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• A genuine passion for delivering outstanding care and achieving exceptional outcomes for young people.
