Lettings Associate

LETTINGS ASSOCIATE – 5 DAY WEEK – BALHAM/TOOTING – £50,000+ OTE

Dove & Hawk have partnered with a forward thinking independent who cover the South West London areas of Balham & Tooting. They are in the process of hiring an experienced Lettings Associate who can oversee the running and growth of the lettings department. This role would suit an experienced Senior Lettings Negotiator who is looking for the chance to run and grow a Lettings department. With fantastic scope for progression; this will be of interest to those who have big ambitions within the Residential Lettings market.

Duties/Functions of the role:

• Welcoming and registering new applicants.
• Arranging and conducting property valuations & viewings.
• Able to maintain good performance of new business in addition to managerial contributions.
• Preparing and collecting Terms of Business, AML checks and landlord identification checks
• Taking and providing feedback to applicants and landlords.
• Speaking with and Managing landlords with any advice and issues.
• Negotiating and closing on qualified offers to ensure the best result for all parties concerned.
• Providing excellent customer service to colleagues and clients alike.
• Assisting in the tenancy process where required.

Applicants must have:

• Experience in, or hungry to grow into acting manager role
• Attitude is everything! They are looking for someone who knows that effort is the key to success and that only by listening to the help and advice of others can one learn to be better at the job.
• Good interdepartmental relationships with Property Management, Accounts and Sales departments
• A proven track record of success within the Property industry.
• Immaculate & professional presentation.
• Great communication skills with people of all backgrounds.
• Strong IT skills

Salary Budgets: £25-33,000 Basic Salary, first year OTE of £50-55,000

Required working hours: 5 day week! Mon-Thurs 9am-6:30pm, Friday 9am-6pm, 1 in 3 Saturdays 10am-4pm with a day off given in lieu for each Saturday worked.
