Fortus Recruitment Group Limited are a recruitment company that specialise in placing people within the repairs and maintenance industry.

An established property services contractor is looking for an experienced Plasterer / Wet Trade Multi to join their team working in and around Basingstoke. This is a temp to perm opportunity, working on a long-term social housing maintenance contract carrying out reactive repairs and planned maintenance across occupied and void properties.

The Role:

– Carry out plastering repairs in occupied and void properties

– Complete patch plastering, skimming and making good works

– Undertake additional wet trade repairs including basic tiling, decorating and minor carpentry where required

– Diagnose repair issues and complete work to a high standard

– Respond to reactive maintenance jobs

– Keep tenants informed of work being carried out

– Complete job sheets and records as required

What We’re Looking For:

– NVQ Level 2 in Plastering or equivalent experience

– Experience working within social housing or property maintenance

– Good all-round wet trade or multi-trade ability

– Ability to work on your own and as part of a team

– Friendly and professional approach

Requirements:

– Full UK Driving Licence

– DBS check
