About the role

Description

We are looking for enthusiastic and adaptable Primary Supply Teachers to join our team, working in schools within Ellesmere Port and the surrounding areas. This is a flexible role, ideal for teachers who want to gain experience in different schools or prefer adaptable working arrangements.

We need Teachers who are happy to work in EYFS, KS1 and KS2

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons or adapt to short-notice teaching requirements.
  • Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
  • Engage and support students across various subjects and year groups.
  • Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure continuity of learning.
  • Follow school policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress.

Requirements of a Primary Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to manage behaviour effectively
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to collaborate
  • Flexibility and adaptability

Registrations required to be a Primary Teacher:

  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

We are looking for candidates who are able to maintain good behavior within the classroom, those who don’t shy away from challenging needs – and are able to successfully build a mutual understanding and respect. Somebody who the students can look up to.
