Automated Gates & Barriers Engineer

My client is a well established gates and barriers company based in north greater London.  They have over 30 years of experience to provide their customers with a top quality product and service.  They are family run, they are cash rich, and their reputation in the area couldn’t be higher.  They get repeat business and word of mouth business through their hard work and team ethic.  In the gates and barriers sector they are the company that people what to work for.

Due to expansion they are recruiting for an automated gates and barriers engineer, you will be:-

• Providing service, maintenance, and installation on automated gates and barriers
• Working with domestic properties as well as commercial clients such as offices and schools
• Working on wooden gates, metal gates, automated gates and barriers
• Going to the office in Enfield 2-3 times per week to collect equipment
• Covering mostly the north London area as well as some Essex, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire areas

Preferred Skills for a Gates & Barriers Engineer

• Living in or around the north London area as you will be going into the office in Enfield 2-3 times a week
• Experience working on automated gates and barriers is needed
• Having any basic welding experience would be an advantage

Salary and Benefits of a gates and barriers engineer :-

• 40-45k basic depending on experience
• Van, phone, specialist and power tools supplied
• 20 days holiday (also 8 bank holidays)
• Further manufacturers course available
