About the role
A fantastic secondary school in Newham are looking to train up a Maths Teacher, starting as a Teaching Assistant working their way up.
The school have a clear progression path for graduates with the TIQ Programme - a programme that takes you from Teaching Assistant to Qualified Teacher Status over 2 years of paid work & progression from Teaching Assistant, to Co-Teacher, to Teacher with a gradual increase in timetabled teaching hours.
Alongside the teaching & shadowing you will be doing, you will also receive high levels of training and development in the theory that underpins the practical experience gained at the school.
We are looking for graduates who have a passion for both Maths and helping children learn - clear evidence of wanting to to work with & help children is necessary and there is an interview process to go through before being enrolled on the programme.
