About the role
Teach In Qualified is a salaried graduate programme to take you from Teaching Assistant to Qualified Teacher over a 2 year period of gradual progression.
If you missed the boat on applying for teacher training to start in September, then don’t fret, you can start this course as soon as January and, what’s more, you will earn a salary whilst you’re being trained & the school will pay for all of your training costs so there are no course fees or student loans.
The programme involves you starting as a Teaching Assistant and working alongside the teacher by watching them plan & deliver lessons and gain an insight into the world of teaching. Then, moving one phase at a time, your responsibilities will increase to teaching small intervention classes, team teaching the whole class and, by the 3rd term you will begin teaching independently.
