MJ Health is currently seeking a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon for our well-established independent client based in Exeter.

Job Role: SA Veterinary

Role Duties: We are seeking a Veterinarian to join our clients team maybe in the twilight of their career looking for a quiet first opinion practice to provide great customer service to clients and then go home and put their feet up in the Devon sunshine with a nice glass of wine in the evening.

The successful candidate will provide medical and surgical care to animals, including diagnosing and treating various health issues, administering vaccinations, and performing surgeries. They will also advise clients on preventative care, diet, and general health practices to ensure the well-being of their pets. Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to animal care are essential.

Dates Required: ASAP

Animal Type: SA

Shifts/Rota: Mon – Fri – but can be flexible for the right candidate.

Weekends: Saturday Morning 1 in 2

Out of Hours: No

No of Consult rooms/active per day: 3 rooms

Sole Charge: Occasional

Consult Duration: 20 minutes

Ops Rota: Mon,Tue & Thur,Fri

Software Used: Merlin

Team Size: 1 Vet soon 2 – 2 Nurses – 1 ACAs – 1 Receptionists

Facilities: Digital X-ray, ultrasonography, in-house laboratory facilities, dental machinery

Accommodation: No

Salary Offered: DOE

Benefits: RCVS, BVA, VDS fees paid

Other Notes: To be an applicable candidate you must be RCVS registered and have the right to work within the UK. Nice easy-going practice and proudly independent, not suitable for a new graduate
