Red Box Teachers are currently looking for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Behaviour Lead, and also a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – SEND Lead at a wonderful Primary School in East London – E3

Duration: Temp to Perm

Type: Full Time

Pay: Negotiable/Pay Scale

Location: East London – E3

The ideal candidate will have:

• Minimum of 1 year experience working with children with Special Educational Needs including autism, challenging behaviour and complex needs
• Experience working in a UK classroom setting and primary school curriculum
• Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) or equivalent qualification
• Excellent English, Maths and ICT skills
• Assist in the implementation of individualised learning plans for students
• Assist with the development of lesson plans and other instructional materials
• Passion for teaching and highly motivated to contribute to school ethos and values while adhering to all school policies
• Commitment and flexibility, able to demonstrate resourcefulness and to inspire children to reach their full potential with enthusiasm and dedication
• Excellent behaviour management skills and strategies
• Ability to lead and work effectively as part of a team as well as individually
• Excellent work ethic and positive attitude, ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to arrange for one
• Excellent references covering at least the last 2 years of employment
