Audit Manager / Qualified Accountant – £45,000 – £50,000

Black Fox Solutions are delighted to be working alongside a Ballymena-based accountancy firm, for their Audit Manager position!

Open to both full and part-time candidates, our client is offering a great starting salary depending on experience and flexible working, with strong opportunities for professional development.

Joining as part of their established finance team, you will be responsible for:

• Lead and manage audit assignments from planning to completion, ensuring adherence to professional standards for a portfolio of clients across Northern Ireland.
• Oversee and review the audit work of junior team members, providing guidance and support where needed.
• Ensure budgets are completed within relevant budget and time constraints.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of audit procedures.
• Assist in the preparation of audit reports.
• Acting as the primary contact for auditing, managing queries and client relationships.
• Accounts preparation, processing VAT and tax returns where necessary.
• Any other duties as required.

What we’re looking for:

• Qualified accountant – ACA, ACCA or equivalent, with minimum 3 years post qualification experience.
• Previous accountancy practice experience
• Proficiency in audit software and procedure, with strong previous experience.
• Experience with leadership, managing and supporting a finance team.
