Design Director

A global software business you’ll know by reputation has decided that brand is a business pillar, not marketing decoration – driven from the very top, with a CEO who reviews the work himself.

The Role
You’ll lead the creative direction across brand systems, campaigns, and experiential moments – working directly with an Executive Creative Director who left his own successful studio after 20 years to build something ambitious here, you’ll translate strategy into emotionally compelling work that performs across digital, print, and live events.

This role is 80% hands-on, 20% directing – no team to manage from day one, by design. You’ll set the bar for storytelling and craft, personally reviewing and refining work from concept through execution, and you’ll own the scope and timelines for high-visibility projects, including large-scale live events and a global product brand system.

The work should land as unexpected but relevant – rooted in the category, never different for the sake of it. Early next year, you’ll help lead a full rebrand.

The Person
Currently leading creative work at a renowned brand agency or established in-house studio, you’re a Design Director with 8 – 12+ years of exceptional brand design experience. You can articulate every creative decision you make with passion and depth, and you’ve worked on brand systems that scale across multiple touchpoints, more than ready for strategic leadership while remaining hands-on.
