Senior Designer

This is an in-house brand team at one of the UK’s best-known bank payment platforms. It’s a mature and profitable company, and the creative challenge here is genuine: how do you represent abstract technology – machine learning, checkout conversion, payment retries – through UI, illustration and product-led design? This is real B2B infrastructure.

The Role
You’ll lead design across the growth marketing channels, primarily paid and organic social, but spanning email, landing pages, reports, events and direct mail. The remit is systems, not single assets. The team wants scalable templates and frameworks that let non-designers produce on-brand content themselves. And because the product is the thing being marketed, brand design sits shoulder-to-shoulder with product design – a rare intersection to work at.

You’ll operate independently: triaging tickets, managing stakeholders, prioritising your own workload. There’s no project manager and no heavyweight approval structure. Work happens mostly in Figma, with Adobe for the occasional print or event piece, and AI tools are used throughout.

The Person
You’ll have around 2+ years’ experience in the world of design, currently in-house at a VC-backed fintech or SaaS business, or at a respected branding agency. The strongest fit will bring both. 

Your case studies explain the reasoning behind decisions, not just the output; we’re looking for a Designer who can show their thinking. You’re both comfortable across multiple channels and confident managing competing priorities.
